Harry Potter lives with his aunt, uncle and cousin as his parents died when he was quite young. He then discovers he is a wizard and travels to the Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Magic which he soon calls his home along with his two new best friends, Ron and Hermione. Harry learns that Voldemort killed his parents and he survived Voldemort’s attack. He experiences a wild adventure while suspecting Professor Snape for stealing the Sorcerer’s stone, but in the end it was another Professor they should have been watching. Join in the story of Harry Potter, the boy who lived.

I like this book because it was full of adventure and magic and I couldn’t stop reading it as soon as I started. I also thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the series. If you love books, you will love this one. Suited to all ages. Watch the movies AFTER the books 🙂

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is a book by J.K. Rowling and I never wanted to put the book down! In the book Harry Potter, a young boy who had to live under the staircase in his Aunty and Uncle’s house after his parents died, learns that he is a wizard. With the help of a few friends, he tries to defeat Lord Voldemort, the man who killed Harry’s mother and Father and save Hogwarts (the wizard school).

I love how intriguing the book is and the fact that I just can’t stop reading it! I recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of magic. I rate this a 5/5 🙂
